How to Unbrick/Flash Stock Rom on Redmi Note 5 Pro

Have you accidentally bricked your Redmi Note 5 Pro? Don’t worry — you’re not alone. Many users end up in this situation while flashing custom ROMs, rooting, or during software updates. The good news? In most cases, your Redmi Note 5 Pro isn’t truly dead — it can be unbricked and brought back to life.

In this article, we’ll walk you through easy and effective steps to unbrick Redmi Note 5 Pro and get your phone working like new again.

🔍 What Does Redmi Note 5 Pro "Bricked" Mean?

Before we dive into the process, let’s quickly understand what a bricked phone means.

  • soft-brick usually happens when your device gets stuck in a boot loop or freezes at the Mi logo. It’s software-related and easier to fix.
  • hard-brick is more serious — your phone shows no sign of life, doesn’t charge, and isn’t recognized by your computer.

Fortunately, both can be fixed with the right tools and patience.

🧩 Can’t Access Fastboot? Try EDL Mode

If Fastboot mode isn't working, you may need to use EDL (Emergency Download) Mode. This requires additional tools like Test Points or a deep flash cable. It’s a bit technical, so proceed only if you’re confident — or seek help from a technician.

Unbricking your Redmi Note 5 Pro might seem intimidating, but with the right method, it’s totally doable. Just follow the steps carefully, and you’ll likely have your phone working again in under 30 minutes.
