There are a number of wireless charging options available on the market today, but you usually have to choose between a relatively unknown or costly brand. The first "BlackBerry wireless charger"-the BlackBerry Power Wireless Charging Pad-was launched by the Optiemus Infracom brand licensee of BlackBerry. The BlackBerry Wireless Charger is Qi-enabled, has a 5W power output and is currently available in India. At Rs. 2,499, you can buy it online at Amazon India.

Although the BlackBerry Wireless Charger listing mentions "Wireless Charging Pad for BlackBerry Evolve X," because it uses the Qi Wireless charging standard, and the company says it is compatible with most wireless charging capable Android phones and also iPhone models released in 2017 or later.

The BlackBerry Wireless Charger itself is equipped with a USB Type-C input and can power 5W. As 10W and 15W wireless chargers are more common these days, that's a bit slower on the side. However, it supports Quick Charge 2.0 and has an indicator of LED charging to display charging status. Buyers get a 6-month purchase guarantee from a manufacturer that is more than many other chargers boast. It has a charging surface that is non-slip and weighs 54.4 grams.

Huawei also launched a wireless charging pad in India at Rs. 3,999 just a few months ago. That has 15W power output, however, and an integrated chip that can automatically adjust the output power to the ambient temperature and the percentage of the battery in real time.
