How to Install OTA Update on VIVO X Fold3 Pro (2026 Method)
Gone are the days when you needed a PC and complicated flash tools for every update. VIVO's latest UI allows you to flash the OTA package directly from your storage. Follow these steps carefully:
- Ensure your battery is at least 60% charged.
- Backup your important data (just to be safe).
- Maintain a stable internet connection for the download.
Installation Steps:
- Download the File: Get the PD2337F OTA zip file from the download section below.
- Placement: Once downloaded, move the .zip file to the Root Directory of your internal storage (meaning outside all folders). Do not rename the file.
- Access Local Update:
- Go to Settings > System Update.
- Tap on the Gear Icon (Settings) at the top right corner.
- Select the Local Upgrade option.
- Select & Verify: The system will automatically detect the .zip file you moved. Tap on it.
- Install Now: The phone will verify the file integrity. Once verified, click Install Now.
The device will reboot and begin the installation process. This might take 5-10 minutes. Do not press any buttons while the update is in progress.
Common Troubleshooting
- "File not found": Make sure the file is in the main internal storage and not inside any folder like 'Download'.
- "Verification failed": This usually happens if the download was corrupted. Try downloading the file again with a better connection.
